3D Printing and Modeling - 3D printing and modeling is used in many different industries to prototype, create items, and bring ideas into reality. Our campers will learn to think critically by modeling in 3D and gain an understanding of 3D printing’s wide applications. Our course will teach how to create a 3D model and print that model in the real world.
Campers will learn how to operate and troubleshoot the 3D printer machine on their own. We will be using a free online software called Tinkercad to create our 3D models and Ender 3 Pro 3D printers to print them in plastic. Depending on student interest, we can cover topics such as basic shapes, toys, action figures, game pieces, functional parts, tools, miniature models, and more.
This class is perfect for those contemplating getting into 3D printing at home. This camp will be as fun as it is educational. By the end of our course campers will be confident in using 3D printing for recreational or educational projects.
